Brunson White Advisors, LLC (BWA) is an Information Technology consulting firm formed by L. Brunson White after spending over 35 years working in industry, not-for-profits and government. BWA was formed to leverage Brunson’s expertise and contacts while helping clients build a successful and sustainable Information Technology capability.
Brunson was an executive with Energen Corporation (NYSE:EGN) for 33 years serving as Chief Information Officer for almost 20 years and completing his career with Energen as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for its Alagasco subsidiary. After retiring from Energen, Brunson served as a member of the Governor’s cabinet from 2013 until the end of 2015. While working with the State of Alabama, he served as the first Secretary of Information Technology for the state.
A native of Alabama, Brunson grew up in the Birmingham area and attended the University of Alabama. He has been very active in the community serving on more than 20 nonprofit boards during his career. He is a trustee emeritus for the national Arthritis Foundation having served as Chair of the board in 2007 and 2008.
